This is officially week 1 out of the next 55 that follows a consistent sustained plan.
First and foremost, my new song "BLACK" is out now. You can stream it right here (Apple Music and/or Tidal supremacy by the way), and it is one of the last singles of the year for me. It's a return back to my hip-hop derived sound reminiscent of my song 3:24 (one of my most critically acclaimed up to this point) so I naturally wanted to circle back to it before the end of the year.
Secondly, I'm working hard right now to get the webpage for CrossOver Everything built and ready to start selling merch ahead of the new year. There will be a BIG project to launch this brand, so stay tuned for it. I am looking extremely forward to building it and sharing it with you all, so please support it with the same vigour you've been supporting the rest of the catalog!
Finally, I wanted to speak about a moment of divine intervention I witnessed unfold this week. I was ready to delay a project until 2027 I had in the works for 2026 - likely one of the most demanding that I've forced upon myself up until now - until I came across a video from Neighbourhood Art Supply founder Chris Alba discussing the importance of long-form content (primarily series-building) heading into 2026. I can't yet disclose what this project will look like, but it inspired me to add it back into my goals list for 2026. Hoping for internal motivation and external prayers to help equip me with the tools to tackle this monstrous task.
(Side note, if anyone knows any videographers in Southern Ontario wanting to get their feet in the door, send me a message at unpromotedsounds@gmail.com - any help would be appreciated!)
In my personal life, I've been diving into the Book of Revelation in the Bible and I am enjoying re-familiarizing myself with end times imagery and what we can expect looking into our future. If someone were to read this book first upon picking up the Bible- I pray for your strength. This is a tough one to tread even as an experienced Christian. I've also been grinding out Battle Mode in Mario Kart World as well, torturing myself by playing as the worst character of the match every time. It forces me to get comfortable with doing things I don't want to do, which of course is a NECESSARY skill for all that I'm working on at the moment.
If you're somehow finding these blogs, know that I appreciate you taking a short amount of time out of your week to read them! It means a lot that you care about reading about what's going on in my week.
Best wishes and blessings!
